Yoga Teacher Abbie runs MindFit Yoga which offers Vinyasa Flow yoga classes in Derby, to support a healthy lifestyle for both the body and mind.

Yoga is central to our offering at MindFit, we are firm believers in a healthy mind and a healthy body. Proven to increase metabolism, help digestion, decrease stress, encourage peace of mind, increase strength and flexibility, lower the chance of heart disease, improve fitness and mental resilience – why wouldn’t any individual give it a go or business invest in an employee yoga programme?

Yoga in the Workplace

Mindfit yoga sessions are based in the workplace for companies who feel their employees will really appreciate the benefits, and that the company, in turn, will see the positive effects on morale, productivity and anxiety.

Stress in the workplace can seriously undermine a company’s goals and a regular yoga session works wonders. We offer companies an hour’s introductory session to give everyone a chance to see how beneficial it is. After that we can bring yoga to your office in different packages, with classes pre-bookable in blocks of six weeks or on an ongoing basis.

Our sessions can be delivered after work or in the lunch hour. Organisations can provide us with space for people to do yoga or we can hire one for an extra cost.

About Abbie

Having completed her Yoga teacher training in India, Abbie is enthusiastic and passionate about passing on the knowledge gained from Indian Gurus. As a professionally trained dancer Abbie naturally chose to teach Vinyasa Flow Yoga which allows freedom and creativity into each and every class.

Abbie caters for beginners, intermediates and advanced students; offering varied options for students to choose their preferred level of intensity. Providing specific adjustments in postures allows students to go deeper into the poses with support and guidance. Breathing techniques are delivered to enable complete conscious breath control permitting, either a deeper physical practice or allowing for deeper relaxation. Through extensive knowledge of the body and how it is able to move, Abbie is able to advise and guide students into using the correct muscles in postures. This enables them to deepen their stretching and strengthen their muscles.
